Beirut makes me so happy. It was initially a solo project created by Zach Condon but then later became a full band led by Condon. He's a huge inspiration. He dropped out of school at the age of 16 to pursue his career in music. He traveled to Europe and then became drawn to the folk music there (primarily Balkan). His musical dream eventually came true and now he's a 23 year old success story. Kudos!
