you made me feel so appreciated
in that first instant
and gave me the strength
to take off all the bandages
and show the world
who i really am.
there was so much to say
so many stories we wanted to share
so many things we wanted to understand
and it was so wonderful
to feel like this
that i didn't know what to do.
to meet a shooting star
that burns so bright
should be shared with the world
because we could really use
more people who are like you.
